Hire prop guns, rifles, handguns, replica pistols, flintlock and Western guns for use in stage productions, film/movies and TV. Note – we do not hire to members of the public for fancy dress & parties

Altrincham Garrick is pleased to offer a large selection of replica guns and rifles as part of our prop gun hire department. This covers a huge selection of fake handguns, pistols, rifles and shot guns available to hire from a many different eras. From eighteenth century flintlocks through western rifles, to thirties Tommy guns to more modern shotguns and rifles. We even have replica AK47s and more modern looking assault rifles to hire from our secure location in Altrincham.

We welcome all enquiries, but please be aware that we do not hire out to member of the public for fancy dress parties, themed re-enactments, stag or hen parties. We will only rent out to bone fide theatres, television and film/movie production companies.

Long-barrel guns and rifles (practical blank-firing)	This selection includes replica flintlock carbine rifles, shotguns, Lee Enfields, Winchester rifles and air rifles.  Some can be fitted with straps and some with telescopic sights. Most of these are available in blank-firing versions. Please allow at least 3 weeks notice before collection, for all blank-firing guns and all of our realistic fake gun props.
Hand-guns and pistols (practical blank-firing)	All the replica pistols shown on the left are available as blank-firing. Some examples: Number 1 is a modified period percussion cap prop hand pistol. Number 4 is a prop Derringer, which conforms to extra regulations. Please allow at least 3 weeks notice before collection, for all blank-firing guns.
Long barrel guns and rifles (non-firing)	This is a small selection of our large range of dummy, prop, replica, deactivated and non-practical rifles. Some are exact replica guns; others are simple wooden-profile cut-out shapes (being more suitable for cost-conscious productions). None of these stage guns is able to fire.
Handguns and pistols (non-firing)	These short-barrel replica handguns are deactivated, non-practical, dummy, replica or stage guns, also suitable for film and TV. These cover a comprehensive range from the earliest period replica flintlock pistols through to modern day hand automatics. None of this range is able to fire.
Sub Machine Guns (non-firing)	Shown here is a selection from our stock of machine gun props including prop AK47. Many of these can be supplied with straps for ease of use. Some examples: Number 1 is the Lewis Gun MK1 that was especially made for the script of Dad’s Army. Number 2 is an SA80, which can be used with or without telescopic sights. Number 6 is a fake AK47 None of these can be supplied as blank-firing.
