Departments

If you are already a Friend of the Garrick (or are thinking of joining as a Friend of the Garrick) why not get more involved and help your theatre?

No matter what your age, interests or experience we have a department that would welcome your help. All of the roles at the Garrick are volunteer and unpaid – and all offer wonderful opportunities to get involved with a local theatre.

Can you help for one night of each of our Garrick mainstage show weeks ? That’s only 13 evenings a year! You could possibly help to serve interval coffees in the coffee bar, or work on the doors taking tickets, or work in the kiosk selling goodies.

We also welcome people who want to get involved behind the scenes in our productions: becoming one of the stage crew building the sets, getting involved in lighting or in sound, helping in the props and wardrobe departments, or acting on the stage.
