Set between Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day in New York City, this film focuses on the effect of a department store Santa Claus who claims to be the real Father Christmas. This is a "colorised" version of the original black and white film. This screening will (as always) be introduced by Barry Purves with informed trivia, anecdotes and some background of the production.
