Following his March 2022 sell-out concert, leading UK tenor Martin Toal and guests are back at the Altrincham Garrick theatre for the summer of 2023 to bring you a one night only variety concert of favourite songs, music and dance from the world of opera, musicals, and sport, concluding with a singalong and flag-waving Last Night of the Proms Finale!

A top class and sought after vocalist and entertainer, Martin Toal’s credits include having sung for Her Majesty the Queen and at all the major UK sporting venues including Old Trafford & the Etihad in Manchester, and Twickenham & Wembley stadiums in London! His clients have included the FA, Coutts Bank, the Prince’s Trust, Lord’s &; Lady Taverners and Dragons Den’s Theo Paphitis, and Martin’s TV &; radio appearances include BBC1’s Inside Out, BBC2’s A Band for Britain with actor Sue Perkins, SKY News, SKY Sports news, and BBC’s radio 2 and 5 live. Whether volunteering on-stage, back-stage, front of house, in wardrobe, props, sound or lighting, or elsewhere, no experience is necessary because you will be given full training by our qualified staff.

The Garrick is a non-professional organisation that is extremely well regarded for the high quality of our productions; however we rely on the hard work and generosity of our volunteers. Many of our patrons believe that our ticket prices are too low considering our large overheads, the quality of our productions and the overall high standard of the theatrical experience that we provide. We also have a wonderful youth Academy, GAPA which offers theatre stagecraft tuition to over 100 students per term. (We also offer Bursaries so please feel free to enquire).
