Elf - 2003 Film Screening

Raised as an oversized elf, Buddy travels from the North Pole to New York City to meet his biological father, Walter Hobbs, who doesn't know he exists and is in deseperate need of some Christmas spirit.

A jovial seasonal treat from director Jon Favreau, Elf was reportedly inspired by Tom Hanks in Big, but took on a life of its own once Will Ferrell became involved, improvising many of his lines and endowing the whole thing with manic energy.
