At the Altrincham Garrick, we pride ourselves on offering unforgettable performances in a space where everyone feels comfortable and cared for.

To ensure our audiences and casts can enjoy the very best experience all year round, we are thrilled to be installing a brand-new, energy-efficient Heating, Ventilation and Air Cooling system. This vital upgrade will help us maintain a pleasant temperature in every season and improve overall air quality throughout the theatre.

We're halfway there !

We are delighted to report that we've received over £50,000 in donations already in the first 8 months of our CHILI fund-raising campaign. As a result, Phase 1 can now be completed : we are installing the first new HVAC units in the auditorium by the middle of November 2026.

This is an exciting first step towards improving temperature control and air quality throughout the theatre, and we're very grateful to everyone who has contributed towards us affording to get this installed in time for winter.

Phase 2

Our fundraising efforts carry on, however, The Phase 2 target, to install two more units at a cost of an extra £20,000, is well underway. As a community charity, we still need support to complete the wider project, and every donation will help us make the theatre a more comfortable environment for audiences and performers.

We can’t make this exciting improvement a reality without your support. By donating to our CHILI campaign, you’ll be helping us create a healthier and more enjoyable environment for everyone who visits the theatre.
