Peter Jackson

Peter was Head of Workshop throughout the 1990s and 2000s. 

Apprenticed for 7 years from the age of 14, he became a Master Joiner working in the domestic and commercial fields.

After joining the Garrick, he worked on over 400 mainstage and studio shows building and helping to design sets and making props plus working, and collaborating, with stage crew, designers and directors. He was much appreciated by all of them for his expert knowledge.

He also was involved with helping to put on the one-night shows performed by visiting professional acts.

Outside the Garrick, he took a keen interest in country sports and activities.
