Stella Sails (née Doyle)

Stella was a wonderfully versatile actress, first performing at the Garrick in 1975 in Who killed Santa Claus. Her other credits include After the Fall by Arthur Miller, Twelfth Night (playing Maria), A Man for All Seasons, Fifteen Streets, Move Over Mrs Markham, and The Winslow Boy.

She also appeared with the Garrick company at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1982.

Backstage, Stella was heavily involved in wardrobe, as an ASM and prompt, and she took a full part in the social life of the theatre.
