GAPA - The Garrick Academy of Performing Arts – Term 1 2026/27 

Join GAPA and become part of our exciting Saturday Academy, where young performers build confidence, develop their theatre skills and experience the thrill of performing on a professional stage.

GAPA runs seven Saturday groups throughout the academic year, with classes for children and young people aged 5–18. Our six morning groups cater for students aged 8–18, while MINI GAPA provides a fun and engaging afternoon class for children aged 5–8.

Throughout the year, every group works towards the shared goal of performing in our annual main stage production. The first term begins with stagecraft, acting, singing, movement and audition preparation, giving students the opportunity to develop their performance skills and confidence. 

Once auditions are complete, rehearsals begin as the cast works together to bring the production to life in the second term.

As well as learning the discipline and teamwork involved in rehearsing and staging a full-scale production, students make lasting friendships in a supportive, creative environment filled with fun, laughter and encouragement.

Term 1 Dates

5 September – 5 December 2026 (10 weeks)

No classes on 24 October or 31 October 2026.

Fees

• Groups 1–6: £222 per term (£18.50 per session)

• Group 7 – MINI GAPA: £111 per term (£9.25 per session)

Before You Book

Please ensure you select the correct GAPA Group (1–7) when booking to ensure your child is enrolled in the appropriate class for their age and session time. If you are booking for more than one student, please check that the correct group has been selected for each child.

Places are limited, and selecting the wrong group could result in your preferred class becoming full before your booking can be amended.
