Manchester tenor Martin Toal is back at the Altrincham Garrick to bring you his ever-popular annual one night only summer concert of favourite songs, music and dance from the world of opera, musicals and pop, concluding with a singalong and flag-waving Last Night of the Proms Finale!
Returning with Martin in 2026 as guest artists are fiddle player Richard Sanderson, soprano Millie Royle, the June Rendell Academy of Dance and the children’s choir of St Hugh’s Primary school.
Performing since 2004, tenor Martin Toal is a top class vocalist and entertainer very much in demand for major sporting, corporate, concert and charity events. He has performed with some of Europe’s top artists including tenor Alfie Boe, sopranos Lesley Garrett and Laura Wright, and Ireland’s Chris de Burgh who described Martin’s voice as “phenomenal”.
His performance credits include having sung at all the major UK sporting venues including Old Trafford & the Etihad in Manchester, and Twickenham & Wembley in London! His clients have included the FA, Coutts Bank, the Prince’s Trust, Lord’s Taverners and former Dragons Den star and entrepreneur Theo Paphitis. Martin’s TV & radio appearances include BBC1’s Inside Out, BBC2’s A Band for Britain with actor Sue Perkins, ITV, SKY News, SKY Sports news, and BBC’s radio 2 and 5 live.
